Experimentieren verbindet!
unsere Vision haben wir auch in 2019 mit vielen Menschen verwirklicht.
Experimentieren verbindet.
two4science provides hands-on science activities for children and adults. The mission of the Darmstadt-based company is to stimulate a love of science and technology in people of all ages and to create a basis for sustainable development of new technologies in Germany. The two4science team believes in the effective method of joint experimentation.
Founded in 2004 by journalists Dr. Andrea Gruß and Dr. Ute Hänsler, two4science now employs 24 people in Darmstadt, Gießen and Ludwigshafen in two business units, "Lernwelten" ("learning environments") and "open minds".
two4science fosters science and technology education in Germany by creating authentic learning environments that are fun for all and stimulate curiosity. The company's team of scientists and educationalists does so by making effective use of modern educational insights and methods, based on years of experience in informal and non-formal education. two4science combines educational professionalism with organizational and journalistic expertise and offers businesses a complete package from a single source that includes the design, implementation and communication of projects to nurture young talent. In collaboration with many partners, two4science has created a wide variety of learning environments for children, families and teachers since 2004.
Innovations secure Germany's future as a location of business and industry. Alongside solid expertise in science and technology, innovation needs a can-do climate that allows bold ideas to develop and thrive, and a social environment that lends itself to constructive discussion of the risks and opportunities of new technologies. two4science addresses both these aspects with the hands-on science method. two4science's "open minds" brand offers entertaining and educational workshops that foster skills such as collaboration and idea-generation on interdisciplinary project teams, or quite simply get people from different stakeholder groups talking to each other as they do experiments together.
